FTP Shipping Setup
FTP Delivery is an alternative to the Internet Delivery. Once completed, the order output is uploaded directly to an FTP location of your choice. You can view it in the list of previous orders, however, it is not possible to download it through the Alesco Data interface.
You can create a predefined list of FTP locations that you are planning to ship your orders to, and afterwards, when placing an order, you will be able to select a location from the list instead of entering the location data.
1 On the Options tab, click Account Preferences.
2 On the Account Preferences panel, click FTP Shipping Setup.
3 Click the Add new location link.
4 Select one of the following options, if available:
• FTP
• SFTP
SFTP is a secure form of the regular FTP protocol. When user opens a regular FTP session, the entire transmission is sent in plain text. In contrast to FTP, SFTP all data including passwords is encrypted.
Note that besides regular FTP, only SFTP protocol is supported, which excludes FTPS and any other certificates.
5 In the Add FTP Location section, fill in the following fields with the parameters of your FTP or SFTP location.
